Theme: Investing in Healthy, Economically Viable, and Sustainable Transport Corridors Dates: 23rd – 25th November 2026 Location: Nairobi, Kenya
Overview
Jointly organized by the Northern Corridor Transit and Transport Coordination Authority (NCTTCA) and North Star Alliance, the 3rd RCTCH conference serves as the premier convening platform for policymakers, financiers, and private sector leaders. Building on the evidence-based foundations of 2024 and 2025, the 2026 edition shifts the focus from discussion to action, specifically addressing the financing gap for corridor health infrastructure.
Strategic Focus for 2026
The conference will directly address the clinical and systemic failures that cost the regional trade GDP millions of dollars annually due to delayed deliveries, asset destruction, and detected disease transmission along the corridor. Key objectives include:
- Mobilizing Sustainable Financing: Co-designing investment mechanisms with development banks and health financing bodies.
- Strengthening Policy & Technology: Driving concrete commitments on road safety, real-time disease surveillance, and climate-adaptive infrastructure.
- Translating Research into Action: Showcasing operational pilots that demonstrate the public health and business case for investing in corridor resilience.
Event Structure
The forum will employ a multi-layered engagement model featuring high-level keynote addresses, expert panels, scientific showcases, and community-driven action planning.
